TEDxKids@Brussels 2011: Revolution instead of transformation

On the 1st of June 2011, around 400 participants gathered in the auditorium of the St. Johns school in Waterloo, Belgium, to see some of the most innovative speakers worldwide on the topic of kids education at TEDxKids@Brussels.

During the event, the Learning Agency Network was managing some of the web 2.0 activities such as the live streaming and the Twitter backchannel. In addition, interviews with the speakers and participants were carried out within a series called "Behind the Scenes". All of the videos have been directly uploaded on our YouTube channel, and some of them which were directly related to personal, organisational or societal learning have been selected for our Vimeo channel. One of the most interesting ones was the interview with Gever Tulley on his concept of a "Tinkering School":

During the day, the Learning Agency Network was running the Conference Minutes - a live protocol of the activities at TEDxKids.

Within 9 days, the One Laptop Per Child Foundation in Europe has published the videos of the speakers, e.g. the one of Mark Surman on Hackasaurus:
